RE: Keystone Fuzion 362 Tires Issue

I have an '08 Fuzion 362 with the same 15 inch Mission tires. To date I have about 3000 miles with no problems. I run up to 80 mph on the open road and have had it on some really rough roads also. I check the condition and pressure before each leg of a trip. I look for cuts and other signs of damage and deterioration. I run with 60 psi and check lug torque before hitting the road. With all the bad reports on the Mission tires, I guess I pay a more attention to them. The first sign of trouble, I'm switching brands.

RE: Topsail Hill SP

Just got back from Topsail a couple of days ago. Spent all last week there. Didn't see a snake or gator anywhere. Not a lot of bugs either. I guess the wind blew them all to Alabama. We did see some healthy rats eating the dog food that people leave out. The only thing that bothered me was the construction noise. Being a state project they don't work very long though. They usually start about 8 am and stop about noon. They are adding more cabins and a tent camping area. No new RV sites. All things considered it's still a good place to stay. The park rangers and the volunteers are all friendly and helpful.

RE: best campground in/around pigeon forge TN???

We've stayed at River Plantation several times and really like it. There are a lot of really good CG's in Pigeon Forge. A shorter list may be to ask "which CG's to avoid".

RE: 2008 FUZION 362 HEADS UP

I have an early '08 (15 inch wheels) 362. I've had nothing worth taking it back to the dealer for. I've made a couple of minor adjustments but nothing close to what "RapidConcepts" claims. My biggest issue was a leaky outside speaker. I just took it out and put a new bead of silicon on the flange and it's fine now. "RapidConcepts", can you share your list of the 45 items that need repair? Maybe I have some problems that I haven't noticed yet.

RE: Topsail-May 18-25th

We arrive on the 17th for a week. Site # seventy-something ( I just drive, the wife tells me where to go :B). We were there at Christmas and loved it. Topsail Hill is on my shortlist of good spots. We need to compile a list of good restaurants. Any suggestions will be appreciated. We liked McGuires Irish Pub and will go there again.

RE: Gatlinburg, TN

Unless you just have to have hook-ups and all the ammenities; don't miss Cades Cove area and the campground inside the National Park. Its about 25 miles from Gatlinburg into the interior of Great Smokey Mt NP but you can really experience the Park and its natural beauty instead of just being stuck in the tourist trap town area(my biased opinion). Or, closer to Gatlinburg(if you really must waste time there)is also Elkmont Campground inside the Park. Over 10,000,000 visitors per year 'waste time' in Gatlinburg. Guess they're all crazy. But I love every one of them when my property tax bill comes in each year! Every chance I get, I "waste time" in Gatlinburg. It one of the best waste-of-time places I know. :)

RE: 2008 FUZION 362 HEADS UP

I've had my Fuzion 362 since September '07 and still find saw dust. I'd like to go to the factory to see why they have to cut so much after primary assembly. Has anyone pulled the television from the wall mount? More saw dust back there.

RE: Who uses a Toy Hauler...w/o any toys?

I have a Fuzion 362. We carry our Harley's in the back about 50% of the time. When we're toyless, we use the garage as a screened-in room. Drop the rear gate, zip in the screen, open the windows and side door, BAM, second living area. At night, close it all up, drop the two beds down from the ceiling, BAM, another bedroom. If I never carried toys, I'd still have a toy-hauler for my RV.

RE: 2010 Titan with a Cummins under the hood? Yep

Dodge, Nissan, Ram, Titan, HEMI, Cummins. what, a Cummins or HEMI powered Dodge Titan?!!!?. so will we be driving an import or a domestic?:?:h OHHHH! I`m getting a headache! I agree, to much information (rumors) to comprehend. I work for Nissan, on the HD project, and I haven't heard nearly as much information as what's posted here. There are agreements in place and more being negotiated. Stay tuned to Nissan and Chrysler for official news and product releases. Anything else is just fun gossip. :W

RE: Ford F series front end shaking

I have an '02 F-350 2WD. At 78,000 miles I had to replace every joint and bushing in the front end. Cost about $700 with a front alignment. Drives like new. Now my rear diff is making noises. It's always something. Maybe time for a MDT...

RE: Replacement Bunks for Fuzion

Happijac is the brand that comes in the Fuzion from Keystone. The install looks very simple.

RE: Dollywood family campground

There's a new CG just a mile from Dollywood. They're scheduled to open in May 2008. I don't know your planned arrival date in Pigeon Forge, but it may be worth looking at if it meets your travel plans. Bear Cove RV Park Have Fun!!!

RE: Titan Owners?

To the Nissan faithful,,, Don't give up. Part of Nissan's Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) line-up will include trucks in the 250 class and up. These will not be off the Dodge production lines, they will come out of the Nissan facility in Mississippi.

RE: F250 CC 6.0L Diesel & Fuzion 393

I'm pulling a Fuzion 362 with an F-350 SRW CC Short Box. It pulls fine, handles OK on the interstate, but I have to agree that the stopping and emergency situations worry me. I've had to make one quick stop with this rig and I was surprised how long the stopping distance is with that much weight. Luckily it was a straight stop, no evasive turns or lane change required. The trailer brakes worked perfectly and I got the rig stopped in time. I was never in an out-of-control condition, but I sure felt I was pushing the limit. I will be upgrading to an MDT this year. I have my eyes set on a Freightliner P2 Low Bed.

RE: Ford vs Freightliner

I'm in the same situation. I have a 38 foot Fuzion 362, pulling with a F-350 SRW CC Short box. I need a dually at minimum. When I upgrade, I'm considering a Freightliner P2 Low Bed. This truck has a full size Dodge bed set low on the frame. You can still use it like a pick-up. Anyone with Freightshaker experience, please share your thoughts and stories.

RE: Hauling the Harley

I agree, don't use the handle bars for tie down if you have a dresser or wide fairing. I use soft hooks around the lower brace of the triple tree to secure the front. On my Springer and my wife's FXDL, I do use the soft hooks on the handle bars. Depending on the bike and any accessories you have on the rear, finding a good pace to tie onto can be difficult. Just make sure it's something solid like the frame or swingarm. As mentioned in an earlier response use the ratchet tie downs for a secure hold. A Harley coming loose in the trailer would be no fun. Tying down the front brake lever shouldn't be a problem as long as you're not too tight. A long time, tied down tight, could force fluid past the seals in the caliper pistons or the actuator piston. Get a set of chocks soon. There are several choices of roll-in locking chocks that make loading super simple. I went with the Baxley's, but Condor and the others work well also. There are several threads on this forum of "my chocks better than your chock". It's just a matter of preference, they all work well. Enjoy your new hauler.

RE: Help!Newbie buying decision.WW,Fusion,Raptor???

We have an '08 Fuzion 362 and love it. We've had it out on the road 4 times and have had no issues. I'm pulling with an '02 F-350 SRW CC short bed. I need to get a dually so I'm looking at a Freightliner Sportchassis P2. It's a little TV over-kill, but my wife is onboard with it, so why not?

RE: Topsail Info.

For those of you coming from the North to Topsail how do you come? Do you come through Birmingham or Atlanta? Where I come from in KY it was only slightly shorter to go through Birmingham, but I was able to avoid I-75 some. I live in middle Tennessee, we go I-65 through Birmingham and Montgomery. If you go that way slow down in Birmingham and Montgomery, the road surface is horrible. There is some construction north of B'ham and some in Montgomery, but even the areas where there is no construction the roads are really rough. Once you clear the city and construction zones the roads are much better. Just take your time, once you get to Topsail you'll forget about the bumpy roads you just traveled. Enjoy!!!

RE: 2011 Ramtitan or Titanram or???

This may be a Nissan Truck owners first chance to own a 3/4 or 1 ton Nissan pickup with the mighty Cummins! (I am just speculating, but it would seem possible that the Nissan truck built by Chrysler could include 3/4 and one ton offerings). The Nissan truck built by Dodge will be the 1/2 ton, 150 class. The 250 and higher classes will be part of the Light Commercial Vehicle production coming out of Nissan's Mississippi plant. The 1/2 ton Nissan and the LCV trucks (250 and up) will not have much in common.
